...women and men…men and women...

Hi!

I will write about the role of a man and a woman in the society.

In my country, Chile, the roles are considered of very important for its development. But, barriers between for men and women are still unclear. 

For example at work, there are difficulties to understand that a woman can do a job like a man, especially when work is considered typical of men. Well, the same way for men exist work that are considered typical of women. Usually, this happens because the people have prejudice in terms of gender. While there are laws against this type of discrimination, it is still often a determining factor when hiring someone.

In the same way, this happens in terms of the work at home. In Chile, people consider that the roles are definite. Therefore, the tradition is that the woman is responsible for kids and the home. Also, it is consider that men should support the family.   

This situation is unwanted, but the change is very difficult. For example, exist laws that punish the gender discrimination, but sometimes the salaries between men and women aren't equal. For this, the life is harder for the woman.

I consider that this equal is possible. The people should understand that exist differences of all types. Discrimination for any reasons is not healthy. These differences should be accepted.

Well, in conclusion, I don’t like the situation in my country. In Chile, people consider the discrimination as the “traditional way” of understand the roles.

My cell phone!!

Hello everybody,
How are you?
Today, I will talk about my favourite piece of technology...
I do not have a favourite piece of technology...but, my cell phone is my best technological object, and  it is very important for me, because the past year, I bought it.
I use  my cell phone everyday. Generally, I use it for listen to music, for surfing on Internet or for messagging with my friends.
I do not like technology. I prefer others things instead of technological things. But, I am practicing and I need the technology very much, especially in the University.
But my cell phone, I like it. It is usefull and comfortable. Also, it is of black colour, this is important for me because I like this colour. 
I believe that I can live without it. 
Actually, if I do not have cell phone, I think that it would be very difficult for me, because all my communications are by my cell phone.
Also, I believe that the communications are very important for the life, althought I prefer having a good conversation with friends face to face.
Althought, sometimes it is very necessary.
Well...that is all!!

What is a good friend?

I will talk about friendship.

In my opinion, a friend is very important for the life. Is an essential part of my life, especially my friends who has been with me a long time.

 My family and my friends are different. This is because my friends aren’t my family... but in my family exist people that I consider as a friend.

Also, for me exist different friends, some are very affectionate and others prefer to talk much. I remember all my friends, and all are different.

In my case, to make friends isn’t easy. Because, I’m not good to talk with anyone people, I need to feel affinity in some hobbies.

A friend, for me, is a person concerned for others and nice. Only must like to enjoy the life, and live your life. The most beautiful thing I’ve experienced with my friends is when we cry for our separation, but from that day, we are more united than before.

Actually, my friends are the best, make me laugh very much and I hope that this will continue...
